Come to Wytham by car, bicycle and train, see maps below
Main car park (satnav) - £3 / car - beautiful 10 min walk through woods to start area
Disabled car park (satnav) - Free - 80 metres to start area or drop off at start area
Bicycle park (satnav) - Free - at race start area (bring a lock)
Please no parking in the village. Google maps thinks you can drive direct from Eynsham over Wytham Woods - you can’t!
Check in from 9:15am - pickup your race number and timing chip
No registrations on the day (both races will fill up in advance).
No changes of runner name on the day (changes must be requested in advance by June 6th)
Bag drop, toilets and refreshments (no changing facilities)
Water will be provided at 5.3km, 7.7km, 8.7km marks and finish, bring a water bottle if you can
10k starts at 10:30am
Fun Run starts at 10:45am
Awards for Fun Run age category winners at 11.20

SPECTATORS & DOGS
We would love for spectators to come watch, have refreshments and explore the woods, unfortunately dogs aren’t permitted due to the scientific research in the woods
Please remember, do not wear headphones during the race
HEALTH AND SAFETY
First aid is available and medics will be present during the race. Participants are requested to wear suitable clothing, drink sufficiently especially if it is hot, and to carry additional water supplies if likely to need water before the 5.5K water stop. An additional water stop will be provided if conditions require it.
Barry Cornelius plans to take photos for publication on his website and for possible use by press. You can download his photos for free. If you do not wish your or your children’s images to appear as a significant part of any published photo, put a large thick red cross across your and your child’s race number. Red markers will be provided at check-in.
ARRIVING BY CAR
There are two ways to arrive by car:
Via Wolvercote from A40 east or westbound, A34 southbound, A44 southbound or from Summertown or North Oxford
Or A34 northbound left turn to “Wytham” from South Oxford or Abingdon, A420 from Swindon or from central Oxford
ARRIVING BY TRAIN AND BICYCLE
Arriving by train into Oxford or Oxford Parkway, its a 3.5 mile cycle. We will also open up bicycle access from Swinford, this will be a tough cycle over the top of Wytham Woods. See local cycle paths, make sure you are comfortable with your route.
